Coco bidet. Has a built in water heater, sits on top of a standard toilet. Works fine for us.

We were just discussing this on the Caregiver Forum. I've had the TOTO on my Amazon wishlist for awhile now. Looks great.

Most of those "converter" types have this in their instruction sheet-

• Plug the bidet into a grounded outlet and you are now ready to use the Bidet Toilet Seat.

How often do you see a recepticle next to/behind a toilet? So, either you're plumbing for hot water or wiring for power- take your pick!

Wouldn't it just be a lot easier to wipe your !!! better?

If there isn't power, how do you use the bathroom when your laptop isn't charged?

I "use" a bathroom the same way everyday, whether my laptop is charged or not!

True on the wiring. I got around that with some surface mount wiremold from a nearby outlet. On the other subject, there are health conditions that can make wiping "better" a poor choice. I'll not go into that in an effort at keeping from grossing people out.

It is also an environmental issues to some as well. The less toilet paper used the better our environment. And anybody on a septic system knows how much it costs if your septic tanks needs to be emptied or your drain field backs up.

So I'm wondering....isn't there some type of little water heater which could be used to hook up to a bidet? Like maybe just enough water for one individual use. We have an instant hot water heater under the kitchen sink which basically a tiny little water heater. Does something like this exist for a portable bidet?
Got a hose?

If you are going to invest the money in adding a bidet (more of a personal preference than anything), why not do it right. I would do a half a$$ job.. Go all the way..
