The bathroom door was upside down, the previous owners took the poles out of the closets, and there were little prayers written in another language folded in small pieces of paper on top of the door ways.
First time going up into the attic shined the flash light around looking for the pull cord and on a ledge sat an old wooden chair...Could've sworn i saw a person sitting in the chair lol

The last of these was likely a mezuzah, a tradition to some Jewish groups. If you look around Jewish areas, it's not uncommon to see them by the front door.
My house, the odd thing I found when moving a post in the yard (one that held up a birdfeeder). There were wires attached to it. Tracing them back, they went through a hole in the foundation and into a dedicated breaker in the box.
My guess is that the previous owner occasionally liked to fry squirrels eating his birdseed.
I've re-tasked it, I extended the line through conduit and it's now an outlet in my garden.

None of the closets had doors. We eventually found all of them (sliding and bifold) in the attic. No idea why they did this. The house looked weird with the missing doors and it had to be very difficult to get them all up there.
In the attic we found a Kentucky Fried Chicken container (before it was renamed KFC) and a couple of empty beer cans. Apparently someone did some work up there and had lunch. These were from the 80s and the old ring tab beer cans I remember seeing as a kid. lol
I was the recipient of a white metal, wall mounted towel rack, a warped cutting board, some yellow bath towels, and a yard full of "sculptures." All except for the towels, were donated to GW. But the oddest thing is still here, attached to back of my house. It appears to be a ship porthole, with mirror in the opening. We haven't moved it because it was hung in a large hole that DH doesn't want to try to fill in the siding. Oh, we also found a brass boat propeller in the garden.
