Nice edit job. LOL

I had to run back to the post to see what I wrote. Thought maybe I had not put 7 figure homes and had left it at $7 homes.

My house has more than enough space for me (I'm one person in a 3 BR, 2 -1/2 BA house) BUT if I'm dreaming of things I'd like to have just to have them, well then absolutely number one is a flat lot. I've got a STEEP hills side that takes away usable yard space.

Other than that….. things I don't need but would just like to have for no special reason:
-- a family room
-- a bigger dining room (for resale, I don't use the one I have)
-- a walk-in pantry
-- a bigger master bath
-- a second garage bay
-- more storage in general (although bedroom closets are actually a good size)

My suburban SFH built in 1964 just isn't going to have everything today's houses have. My master bath for example is tiny, and just won't compete with today's master baths…but it is what it is. There'll always be a market for my size house so as long as that's the case -- I'm good. Even if years from now it's considered just a starter home (it's not but you never know) -- as long as there's a market for starter homes I'm more than OK with that.
