Use the delicate cycle and cold water. The delicate cycle doesn't wring them out, so they are Very wet. The weight of the water left in them will pull the wrinkles out as they dry on the line.

Hot water shrinks cotton. Hot air in the dryer shrinks cotton.

I always buy pre-shrunk or a cotton blend t-shirt. Wash and dry as normal and no shrinkage.

Always size up on tee shirts. Never dry them, ever. Hand to dry and then sort of hand-smooth them when you fold. I do the same with jeans.

Or maybe too maybe cookies
