Thanks for all the input and ideas. I only have a round towel ring near the sink.

I think if I install a suction cup towel bar like this, I can use the boxed hand towels listed above.

I was speaking from personal experience as well, as I have a guest bath with a towel basket full of plain white towels that I use to change out the hand towel on the towel ring every hour or so. That basket of towels is refreshed as well when needed, depending on the size of the party.

I was able to find a bulk set of 24 hand towels on Amazon that fit the bill quite nicely.

You leave your party every hour to change out hand towels? That's a lot of extra work.

I wanted to install one of those motion sensing paper towel dispensers in our half bath, but my wife quickly shot that idea down.

How am I leaving the party? The guest bath is in the hall, and I use it, too. It's not extra work because I am prepared for the party with clean towels already in baskets.

This isn't rocket science.

I go with paper. More sanitary. Who knows if the person who just did a number 1 or 2 actually washed their hands before using a towel to wipe their hands.

And I also have a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter.

In my bathroom, I know I washed my hands.

Get an 'air' dryer. Dyson makes a model for folks who don't want a trash bin full of paper...Or cloth towels that contain 'germs' from different folks ...

I respect the clean hands mantra... Just haven't found cloth or paper to be an either or. Each do the job...

Personally I would rather use a good quality paper hand towel that hasn't been used by others than a cloth towel. I once dated a guy who never, ever washed the hand towel in his guest bathroom except a few times a year.
