Oh come on. You posted about one product and then switched the product. It rather sounded like a made-up thread. So yeah, I for one, appreciated the poster getting that clarified. You should have too.

I have a non-coiled/flat-iron type hotplate.

It does take a bit longer to get hot....but the surface is more sturdy compared to the coiled-burner hotplates I have used.
