Greek Revival question: This home is an 1800's Greek Revival and most of the door trim and some of the windows have the classic crossetted corners. But this window casing looks very different to me and I can't find anything in Greek Revival style that have ornate window casings like this. Can someone tell me the style or best description of this style of window trim?
It looks to me like it's a converted doorway. If all your windows are the same except this one, I think it was a door. What's on the other side? Patio, walkway, maybe even a removed patio. Needs more investigation.
It has the pediment, pilasters, plinths, and all the other ornamentation. The main thing is it’s on the interior- though not unheard of for the time period.
And, since your observation points out other ornamentation for all other doors/windows, I’d say that “was” a door- although out of place with all others.

Hi, No, there are 4 other windows on separate walls of the house that are exactly the same. I don't think it's a previous door.
Does your “Greek revival” have columns just on the front, or did the porch wrap around?
If the porch wrapped around- or there is evidence that there WAS a porch that wrapped around- then yeah, I’ll stick with my original assumption. It was not uncommon for other rooms on the living/common floor to have doors to the exterior. They didn’t exactly have A/C back then!
I don't know what style, but it is very attractive and looks expensive.
