Yes, they are textured enough. They are not slippery at all.

I should have added 'when frozen' or snow covered. Maybe the ridges help.

My 97-1/2 year old mother doesn't like to go out at all. The times she has been out is when she needed an ambulance which took her to the hospital.

After talking to several people they said I would be wasting money on putting in a ramp. So for now I am going to forget the ramp.

Thanks to one of the contractors that came I found out I have carpenter bees in my front porch/deck. There is a hole where the bees (he called them wood bees) made a nest and there could be several other nests.

So now I'm going to replace that porch/deck in front of the house but keeping the roof. It measures 10 x 10 feet.

I had no idea, guess I'm getting old myself.
