I agree, I never had a dishwasher either. I always felt that by the time the dishwasher was loaded, washed and dried and then put the dishes away I could have done it by hand in minutes! I have only had one the last 3 years. It was in the home when sold and bought. I used to use an sos pad on my utensils and they came out so shiny and clean!
