I'm impressed you got almost five years out of it without any problems. Something to think about if it's going to cost 600 bucks for labor, etc you could buy a new condenser for a few hundred more. I'd like to know what kind of compressor it was going back in? Scroll is at the top of the list in that department. Good luck!
