I'm wondering if anyone knows what happened to Rocky's gas station (Chevron)?

For about the last year, they've been building a big gas station / highway stop right on the Harris/Waller county line, on US290 (south side of 290). It's the Field Store exit, which is just inside the Harris County line by a couple hundred yards. They spent several months building it, then a sign went up saying "Rocky's Chevron", then finally it was opened about 2-3 months ago. Good size place, lots of pumps, large store, I think had BBQ and burgers, plus all the usual highway gas stop stuff.

Then boom. A month or so later, it closed. Chain link fence completely surrounds the place.

Wondering what happened, and so quickly?

owner had health difficulties and turned it back over to the bank (Allegiance, Katy branch). They are actively seeking an operating partner to get it going again.
