Okay , I will do the hating. I mean REALLY!!!??? She has no talent what so ever and is soo over the top it is ridiculous! She has no originality what so ever either oh except for being overly ridiculous. It is sad that young girls are looking up to her. No wonder this country is in such a mess. We have no morals anymore and put people like this and Charlie Sheen on pedestals and worship them!! If we stop paying them any attention then they will stop behaving the way they do. That is the only reason they do what they do because we are stupid and PAY them to behave this way!!

I like her! Her interviews show that she is thoughtful and courageous (speaks out for the bullied, and those that are different), and she IS a musician. I also like it that she respects her fans enough to put on a good show. More than you can say about charlie sheen.

You have no idea. She may be the most talented woman in music. Trained in classical, played recitals, sang at clubs, plays four instruments, had her own band at age 15, accepted at age 17 to the prestigious NYU School of Arts, writes all her stuff and then some (first label contract was as a songwriter for others). She didn't win a TV contest or come out of a Disney show or emerge as a one hit wonder, she played hole in the wall bars for years and made it the old-fashioned way. Google Stefani Germanotta.

How about you tell us what performers you like so we can judge you.
What exactly makes her so damaging to society? What crimes has she committed? I'm not a fan of hers but I do respect that she stands for something and is a voice for millions of people.
By the way, other countries are not laughing at us because of Lady Gaga and Charlie Sheen. To be honest I doubt any countries are laughing at us as we are a nation of free people who are allowed to express themselves however we like despite protests from some people who feel we have to live to their moral standards.
If I'm wrong and other countries are laughing at us I can tell you that it has nothing to do with our performers but our representatives in Washington who have been making some terrible decisions lately.
I'd never buy a Lady GaGa album but I really couldn't care if someone else does.
Of course there are better people our youth can be looking up to like our teachers, policeman, fireman, and soldiers but what exactly does that have to do with entertainers like Lady GaGa? Sometimes we want to enjoy life and listen to music we like and see movies we like. If my college professor puts out an album does that mean I have to go out and buy it? I look up to him but I'd much rather go buy and album from The Killers or Modest Mouse. Does that mean I want to be like them? No. That just means I like their music.
