Is Sugar Land going to become the new "San Francisco" of talk radio?
That would be hilarious.

I can envision Sugar Land growing at a rate that it won't be a suburb anymore, but its own distinct city separate from Houston. And then people are going to have to move further out. This is good news for Sugar Land and the Houston Area.

Sugar Land already feels that way.

Thanks for sharing. This is very good news especially in our family where Multiple Sclerosis has been a trial.

LOL, Sugar Land will always be a suburb. It wont get anywhere near large enough to challenge Houston. Same with The Woodlands.

Nobody said Sugar Land would challenge Houston, just that it is a distinct city.

"Distinct city separate from Houston"

I don't think Sugar Land will ever be that. Most people in Sugar Land now work somewhere in Houston. Still more suburb than "distinct city". Even if Sugar Land were to annex it's ETJ, it's population would be less than 150K. That's nothing.

Galveston is a distinct city. Sugar Land is not.
