I watched "forks over knives" last month on amazon prime, and decided to make a change this past month and really drastically cut my meat/dairy consumption. It hasn't been that bad (I thought it'd be much worse). Since I have kids and am always on the go, the toughest part is not buying drive-thru hamburgers when I'm short on time. I'll tell you though, I've felt better these last two weeks than I have in quite a long time. I don't know that I can ever completely cut out dairy/meat... but I can certainly see myself cutting it down to only a serving or two of meat a week. A fresh, homemade hamburger will still always be one of my favorite things.

Awesome! Glad to hear that you're giving it a try. You should definitely come out to the VegFest and check it out! There will be lots of demonstrations on cooking vegan food and lots of samples to try.

I'm going to try and come down. Lots of good info on the vegfest website. I think my next purchase is going to be a nice blender (blendtec) so I can start doing green smoothies for breakfast.
