Yet again another relocation thread.

Background:

I'm 30 years old - single - and am possibly moving to the Houston area for work. Currently I live in Downtown Fort Worth. I do outside sales and my territory will be north Houston, East Houston, across to Beaumont and even Lake Charles. I have a brother and nieces that live in Spring area.

Want:

I'm looking to spend about $1,400 MAX on a place to live. 2 bedrooms w/ a study or 3 bedrooms. Since I work from home I need some space for a dedicated office which is why I need more than 1 bedroom. I want to be close to young professionals as well as good places to eat and hang out. I'm not a bar hopper but I 100% love some good food and a nice relaxing bar at a nice restaurant or jazz lounge.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!!

Try the Midtown area or the Heights. Some might say Washington Avenue but it is more nightclub heavy and Midtown or Heights would be close enough to enjoy it whenever you want without having to be living in the middle of it.

Look into EaDo as well in 77003. You'll be a few minutes closer to East Houston.

lol. Hi @bsdubois00. I stay in Midtown and I actually own my place. Midtown is a hot area that is going through some serious growth. To find a 3 bedroom or 2 bed with a study you will be looking at around $2000-$3000 so that is obviously completely out of your price range. lol. $1,400 can get you something nice in the Medical Center, Museum District and I'd also take a look in the Montrose area. You will be by some nice restaurants and there are a few places that play Jazz for you to groove to :-)
