Look in the 77407 zip of Richmond.

Cross Creek R is far out and lacking in amenities compared to SugarLand.

I am surprised you are having hard time finding them. Usually whenever I go for a walk in my neighborhood or any local grocery store, I always run across a few. My neighbor who happens to be from India actually told me that whenever he is outside in his yard on weekends, quite a few times people from his country stop by and ask him about the community. He even did that when he was about to buy the house in the neighborhood. It looks like the norm is to drive around and find people from your community and then ask them further questions. I am sure there are plenty around. You just might have to look in the evenings around your neighborhood or family parks in your area.

xenos83 - Cross Creek Ranch may perhaps not be the kind of community you are looking for. Cinco Ranch in Katy, Aliana in Richmond, and most developments in Sugarland (Riverstone, Telfair, etc..) are probably the communities that have a comparatively large diaspora from South Asia.
