Ciao Guys!

Some of you may have read some of my posts on this section.
I moved down here from Italy like 3 months ago. We are now in the process to decide whether we are going to stay here and relocate permantently here in the US vs going to Dubai.

My wife has been taking english classes for the last 2 months and she's almost at the end of this path. As she cannot work at the time being, because of my Visa (that will eventually change in case we decide to stay here), we would like her to be involved somehow in some activities as apposed her to stay home all day long. She's law bachelor, very basic in English but improving on a weekly basis. I was wondering should any activities like volunteering ecc could keep her occupied for most part of the day.
By doing so, she will also continue talking to people and interact with them.

Do you guys have any advice? I was surfing the internet to look for something like this.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

She could volunteer at a hospital. What sort of things does she care about? Find the things she likes and try and find a group that works with what she is interested in.

Consult your immigration attorney because even volunteering can be a problem on some visas.

Google a bunch of law firms that specialize in your wife's skill. Send them an email asking about volunteer opportunities.

Look up "volunteer Houston", or try the food bank or any service organization.

Don't people in Italy do any charity work?!?
