Hello,
My husband and I are possibly relocating to Texas for a job opportunity in Huntsville. I would like to get feedback on living in Bentwater or any other areas near Lake Conroe. Is that a nice place for young children? How is the commute from Bentwater to Huntsville? Would the commute be too far from The Woodlands to Huntsville?

Commuting from The Woodlands is unnecessary. There are amazing communities in Conroe. Bentwater, April Sound, Panorama Village, and many more. Also you might want to take a look at Elkins Lake in Huntsville. Bentwater to Huntsville is an easy commute. Once you start looking in The Woodlands your going to start dealing with awful traffic.

You should REALLY avoid commuting from The Woodlands to Huntsville. Traffic will be a nightmare.

I don't get the impression that Bentwater has many kids among its full time residents. I will say that Montgomery schools are supposed to be pretty good, while Willis schools have a mediocre reputation.

Would Woodforest be a reasonable choice for commuting to Huntsville?
Any other suggestions with great schools?
