Just one and a half minutes ago, the score was 27-10...Texans ahead.

Now here we are, the Colts are about to make another TD to completely win this game.

Oh Matt just left to go to the store. He is LIVID! I am totally pissed too. I swear, I don't want to hear another thing about Matt Schaub. Hello?!?! Rosenfels just threw the frickin' ball to a Colt!!!!!!

What really blows is, my sister is in Indianapolis and she and her hubby are big fans. This is gonna be downright painful.

Da*mit.

Run the football. Protect the football. The two absolute rules of leading a game late.

Yeah, that was pretty rough and ugly. But better days are ahead for the Texans... the Lions are coming to town in a couple of weeks.

I'm a Lions fan, and we haven't even been close to leading in a game yet this year. In our four losses we were down 21-0 against Atl and the Packers before scoring... we were down 21-3 at the half to San Fran... and today we got down 31-0 before scoring against the Bears.

Default No Room For Mistakes

There was no reason for today's Texan loss, and especially since they needed to make a statement at home and before a nation-wide audience (I watched the game on my CBS station in Dallas). The Texans were on the way to turning the tables on Peyton Manning. You don't start making mistakes with just under four minutes to go and you're up by 17! And what a waste, what with good performances by Sage Rosenfels, Andre Johnson, Steve Slaton, and Mario Williams (two sacks). Everybody played great for fifty-five minutes, and then the wheels came off. Just no reason, folks. None.

Rule #1 for any sports fan to maintain sanity - never take it harder than the players.

The sucked SO BAD today. I was at the game. Great seats. We almost left early, thinking they had it in the bag. Then they lost a 17 point lead. In 4 minutes.

Really, really bad. I think they need some serious attitude adjustments. This can't be a talent problem, it has to be a psychological one.
