We had a foreclosure at the back of our neighborhood. before they moved out the people let their 5 dogs run free in the house doing their business everywhere. You had to wear a mask because the smell was so bad inside. The molding along the stairs was warped and bulging from all the soaked up urine. They had the house marked down $70k under what it sold for normally so we looked at it but the amount of work was more than we wanted to deal with. Somebody ended up buying it and looks like they moved right in. Scarily when we drove by he still had up the original nasty smelly blinds in the windows so I hate to think these people are living in the house without gutting it and redoing the interior.

Nicer thought.....did not think of that. Having two small children and being female I automatically think heartache.

For some reason, it really amuses me that they took the HVAC vent cover with them as well.

Reminds me over Funny Farm when they tell Chevy and his wife that they're taking everything with them

Well, I'm female but I have brothers and I have seen frat houses.
And this looks pretty good compared to some of the frat houses. Of course the pictures aren't scratch and sniff, so there's no way to confirm that

I was going through this again, and all of the interior doors, moldings and casings are gone too.

I'd maybe bet money that there's no HVAC left either.

It seems that so much work was put into gutting this house. They must have sold the contents to builders or something. What else would they do with cabinets, fixtures, vents, lights, sinks, doors, etc? I wonder if they took the water heater & A/C units too? I'm begining to see that $200K might be high price to pay for this home. I would be scared about the stuff you can't see that could be wrong with it. Unbelievable.

Or it could be that is the owner's last attempt in making his payments. Like a take everything you want garage sale. Like a pick-and-pull at the salvage yards

If you can get it for the right price (170) it would be worthwhile...the work needed isnt rocket science. a good 30k and some hard work would give you a beautiful home...

I would be sure to test the drainage system to make sure they didnt fill it will quikcrete (seen it happen). It looks like they just took whatever had value...good thing the copper isnt easy to get to, lol

$30K won't get you the kitchen, never mind everything else that is missing.
