I agree now is the time to develop alternatives. There are many alternatives already on the board and in use.
I think the cap and trade legislation is the wrong way to go about reducing emissions that supposedly cause global warming. If there is a great alternative out there, the free market should decide this.
HR 2454 is a horrible power grab by the federal government and will increase the cost of living for every American.

Its good weather to take some 'at risk youth' down to the prisons for a tour. Being many of the prisons are not air conditioned, it may be another reminder of why its cool to remain in school.
