With more locations likely coming, I’d imagine that aspect will only get worse. Who knows though.

Pretty good business update in the paper today. If only they could be like this more often.

I thought the old BB&T building would sit forever. Hopefully this new venture there happens. As for the old Hardee’s in B’ville, I saw some Bojangles signs on their property the other day. Not sure if they are taking the location or just advertising.

I too wondered what, if anything, would come of the older BB&T building. I also hope these plans work out. That area needs some positive news and developments.

That might be a decent location for Bojangles. IF we're talking fast food chicken, I'd rather see the long rumored Popeye's in that location.

The house that was located directly between the Tobacco & Liquor store and First Priority Credit Unit and in front of the Help for Animals clinic along US 60 in Barboursville near the mall has been completely demolished at this time with construction equipment on site. This has been a long time coming. I’m sure there are already plans in place for the property. Any ideas?

These include Longhorn Steakhouse, Aldi, Sheetz, Aspen Dental, Hwy 55, Verizon, Sports Clips and Zen Nails, according to Roswall."

And there we have confirmation of the disappointment and letdown of the same old businesses coming to Tanyard. I mentioned this in a previous post but I'm not sure if this is a reflection of the difficulty of recruiting businesses in the current retail market nationally, just here in West Virginia or that Interstate Realty just doesn't have what it takes to properly develop and recruit quality retail options.

Colossal letdown.

That was my first thought. It's not a very big lot so I'm not sure a sit-down restaurant would have enough room.

Well, we now have an answer of what will go in the lot I had recently reported of the house being demolished between the First Priority Credit Union and Liquor Store...it's WAFFLE HOUSE!!!! So excited, this is huge news (being totally sarcastic).
