There is....Papa Murphy's! There is one beside Publix on 72 in Madison. Not bad for a $10 take and bake. Earthfare also has a really good take and bake pizza.

Had a teenage visitor last week so went to Sam and Greg's for a pizza (after Greene St Mkt). So good that we had to go again by teenager request the next night (after seeing Jase Robertson at Hunting and Fishing Expo). I really like Sam and Greg's pizza; the ambience, service, and bustle add to the enjoyment.

Another vote for Papa Murphy's here! They have pretty tasty pizza and great prices, plus there are always coupons and freebies. I like the fact that I can add extras at home before baking the pie, like bleu cheese crumbles, smoked peppers, or fresh garden veggies. For ~$10, we have enough for dinner and lunch for both of us the next day.

I totally agree. There seems to be high expectations of something as simple as pizza and well this area just isn't very pizza-friendly by said expectations. Papa Murphy's is my go to pie for a DIY, if you could really call it a DIY..

I would choose a California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza over Papa Murphy's.

Thanks FCEddie.

I've never tried Papa Murphy's. Maybe it's worth a shot (esp if its only $10). I'll try any pizza for $10 (but wouldn't give a dime for Imo's)! (Saw earlier mention of Imo's in thread. I had some in St. Louis in 1998 while on a motorcycle cruise. Only pizza I've ever had that I couldn't eat. My friends thought my disgust was hilarious. Manager drove to the hotel to give me a refund. We subsequently ordered Papa John's and were glad for it!)

Looking to try sunrise for lunch next week.

Tomorrow is furlough Friday for me. Will be making some dough......
