I was on Madison Blvd. yesterday and just happened to spot a banner that said "Logan's Steakhouse Coming Soon" or something similar. I was dodging traffic so I might not have gotten the wording just right. It was just west of Wall Triana, north side of the highway, just before the Chinese buffet. I'm excited to see something new and something other than fast food along that stretch! (Sorry if this has been discussed here as I may have missed it.)

That's great news actually. That area needs sit down restaurants.

I hope you guys are being sarcastic!

The last thing this town needed was ANOTHER Logan's, isn't 2 enough?

This place is the Applebee's of Steak Houses!

I'm not talking about the quality being great. My excitement comes from another new restaurant coming to Madison that is currently not there. You know, things like jobs, tax revenue, obesity...

Actually we like Logan's. After trying others like the newly open Texas Roadhouse, and Outback, etc., we still think Logan's steak is better. Of course Connor's, Grill 29, and Chris Ruth are way better but Logan's pretty good and offer a family dinning experience.

I am glad to see they're expanding in Madison. This stretch of Madison Blvd will be very good for business once the Countyline exit/ entrance to I-565 is built.

Actually, it will probably be better until up until they open the CL exit. Your only choice to get to CL now is to take the Wall-Triana exit, which would take you right past the location where Logan's is building. Once the new exit is built, there probably won't be nearly as many cars passing by the area around Old Time Pottery.

I know what you mean. My thinking is that this stretch of Madison Blvd can become a major strip for restaurants/ shops once the Countyline exit opens up. But you are right, those who currently use the Wall Triana exit will be using the CL exit instead which may instead encourages the development of business along the CL road.

But I think the CL exit will encourage both residential & business growth in this area. This location attracts people from north & east side of Madison as well as those who just drive through CL.

Yes, it will be a boon to that area. Great news for me as I live along there. Construction should be starting this spring on the interchange.

It may not be the best steak around, but Logan's will sure be an improvement over the mostly fast food places we have now. I hope they do very well enough that other restaurants take notice and set up shop.

People staying in hotels along there don't have much choice in sit down eateries right now. There's plenty of land to develop between the WT exit and the new CLR exit so maybe this is the start of lots of new things out that way. One can hope!

It would not surprise me one bit if a Costco ends up on the south side of County Line Rd eventually.
