If you want some good Red Velvet cookies try those cake style cookies with the white icing on top from Loft House. I have seen them before at Publix, Ingles, Bi-Lo and Walmart. They vary from store to store who may carry them. Also Little Debbie had some Red Velvet snack cakes around Christmas at Walmart that were also good.

Pricey but available.

Do you have Krogers grocery down there? I think I saw some Red velvet oreo's at our local Krogers recently.

Wow. Didn't know they made "Key Lime Pie" oreos.....

They also make mint oreos (thin ones) and thin yellow oreos - also regular oreos with w/ white filling w/ multi-colored long candies in them ('birthday' oreos) which looked interesting - haven't really been looking for them but did see some at Big Lots recently (not in AL though) - you can probably google them (didn't know about the red velvet ones)

You need to stop what you are doing and go get a package of the Birthday cake chip ones. (Yellow cookie, white cream with chips)

...at least until the Uh-Ohs come back around with the yellow cookie and chocolate creme.

I've got a package of Red Velvets in the freezer, want to start a bidding war ?

I like them but they are sweeter than the regular ones.

Yes we have Kroger here. Was just there Saturday. They didn't have them.
I did see them on Amazon.com but way more than I would be willing to pay for them.

I've got a loaf of bread in the freezer. Next time it snows and the stores are all out of bread, I'll trade with you

Sorry, Padmaster. No Red Velvet Oreos at the County Line Publix But now I feel like I'm on a weird mission to find them to satisfy my own curiosity, so I'll be on the lookout!

Those things must be GOOD for what they are asking for them on Amazon!

Only ones I like are the thins (not mint). When we tried the Birthday Cake variety they didn't even make it into the house - child tossed them straight into the garbage after trying one in the car.

You let your kid toss out a whole package because it didn't like one? Sounds like a sweet little angel...
