Just wanted to drop my opinion. I went there with my family and in-laws (party of 7) on Thursday night, got there around 6 probably. We were told 45 minutes, waited probably 20-25 before we were seated. Drinks came quick, ordered two pizzas. Not sure of the wait on the pizzas, seemed about as long as our wait at the MM in Chattanooga. Pizzas were great. Waitress was also good, checked on us enough that nobody's cup went dry. She also was outgoing, talking with the kids. I'd say based on my experience that they've gotten the kinks worked out.

Jake

My wife and I popped in for late lunch/early dinner so it wasn't too crowded. It was our first visit to THIS Mellow Mushroom. We wanted to wait until the novelty wore off a bit. We lived all over Georgia for 8 years (Augusta, Athens, Savannah), so we've had MM many times in other locations. My take on this one is pretty much the same as the other one's I have visited. Food is okay, but it's not the best pizza in the world, folks. We had the philosopher's pie with steak and mushrooms. It was a bit dry and a bit skimpy on toppings to me. Not bad, not great. But, I was able to order a Rogue Double Dead Guy on draft to go with pizza which will ensure my business there in the future! Good beer and pizza go a long way.

True - it's not the best pizza in the world (I refer back to another location) but it is, so far, the best in Huntsville that I've sampled. I think it also depends on what kind you order...some selections are better than others.

I'll be glad to see the slacker vibe dissipate if it has in fact been replaced with a more professional activity. Great to have a cool place for the cool people to work, but don't be too busy being cool...

I may have to break down and give it a try. I have been waiting for the new to wear off and for them to get their act together.

Tony's - was that the $40.00 pizza? I think we did...I know we tried something that was good, but not great and amazingly expensive. It seems pies are really hit or miss around here. Even Star's, some times it's right and other times burnt or just...not as good as it was the time before.

Usually get a small cheese for Sweet Pea and a large garlic & green olive for us...I don't load on meat unless I'm going hoagie or calzone.

I will be patient and wait for MM to get it together. Husband joked that the service is better when the music is older than the staff.
