Ezio, look at the links posted in the thread at the top. Rental housing...you can try
al.com - Everything Alabama and look for the classifieds section. Some real estate agents also handle rentals...we have a couple who post here who can point you in the right direction.

Good answer from my point of view.
I'm new to the area myself and have found this forum to be a great resource and the posters are fantastic.
We're still trying to find a great pizza place, I was thinking of bringing a friend over from Rome to be the chef.
