Not just one or two but every single one of them had incorrect facts or were slanted to the point of being misleading. I quit watching and just read anything important when I hear about it but most of it is junk anyway and not worth wasting time on. The local weather forecasts are useless and you can use the app on your phone to get the weather forecast in about 20 seconds. Sports news is everywhere so no reason to watch that on local news either.
I'm not quite that adamant about it, but I rarely watch local news any longer either. I'll tune in, generally to Channel 48, when we have weather warnings. I like Brad and his sidekick, Abigail Kegler, as well as Kate McKenna on Channel 31. I used to watch Dan the Man before he retired - he was sort of the iconic weatherman for north Alabama at the time, and before him HC Bagley. Both were in the same league as James Spann in my opinion (given the technology at the time).

Rocketdawg, that's HD Bagley, not HC. I remember my parents thinking it funny how one of the anchors started calling him just "D". Anyway, I do still watch the local news, just to find out about what's going on around the area, same reason I read this forum. I watch whichever one happens to be on, no real preference. But like you say, when the tornados roll in, we lock it on the weather if anything is close by, to see if we need to prepare to head into the shelter.
