Hello, I just moved here from CO. I am an Aerospace Engineer and an investor, not exactly looking to buy anything here to live in for a long time but so far, I think 35758 is my top choice- it happens to also be #1 best rated zip code for families in this area by Niche

I like the Village of Providence area as well but it seems like Madison has more inventory. If you know any areas similar to these, please let me know why you would invest there instead

Thanks!

35758 covers virtually all of Madison, a town of around 60,000. So there are some areas that are more desirable than others. Overall, it's supposed to be the best in the state, and recently Huntsville (meaning the metro presumably) is the best place in the entire US, according to US News. Providence is unique and beautiful, but children go to the Huntsville schools unless they go private. Madison definitely has the advantage when it comes to public schools.

We have been very happy in 35758. RocketDawg summarized it well.

Village of Oakland Springs is a newer development with basically the exact same concept as Village of Providence but on the other side of Madison.

Don't think I've heard of that one, but it looks very nice. If only Hwy 72 was an Interstate (765 or similar) it would be very accessible. Since it's in Limestone County, is it in the Madison City school system? I've heard that even though you're technically inside the Madison city limits, you're not necessarily in the city school system.

I’ll be amazed if Oakland springs commercial business spaces makes it. It is just such an odd location, and not on a major route for most residents.

It is sort of out there at the moment but it is going to be a huge development with a lot of apartments too. The housing there will almost support the restaurants and commercial businesses on it's own and then you have to consider all the factories and new jobs coming in that area. There will be other subdivisions from lower end to upper end all around that place in the very near future. On a side note, we all thought basically the same thing about Village of Providence. When it first started, it was kind of in an odd place too but the entire area quickly developed all around it.

When we moved here my top list was 35802, 35803, 35763, and 35761.

I never could have imagined that after a couple years of renting we would end up purchasing in 35757.
