Awesome plane, my son has been up close as he has refueled that plane.

When I lived in Madison. I see it all the time parked on the East side of Huntsville Airport. I see it on Martin Road on the way into Redstone.

It was still there Monday morning on the east side, a little more north than it was when I saw it the day it brought the heat shield in. It's a pretty impressive, if strange, sight.

The Super Guppy left HSV at around 11:00 this morning, taking off to the south on the east runway. As far as I could see from the golf course, it continued on a southerly heading. According to a Google search, it's based in El Paso and is the only Super Guppy (Boeing 377 Stratocruiser) left in service.
