Well the 11 am update - no sign of Archie, did the walk around the sub, met two neighbors, neither has seen him on their walks.

Hoping to hear from Rescue, because when he shows up tonight, we could have a plan.

My dog, Gus, was a rescue from Rescue a Golden. He had been dumped/abused. Best dog in the world. So darn sweet and easy going. I'm so lucky to have him
I hope Archie finds a great home. He'll be a wonderful companion. Golden's in general are people dogs. Great with kids as well.

I think I want to start a service business where I name stuff for people.

Dogs, cats, kids, boats, businesses ..

Nearly 1 - no sign or Archie.

Apparently, the (pet) detective hat is a big hat to wear
PS. Rep me to know I didn't hurt your feelings.

Pet detective doesn't pay well, lots of spit and remnant dog hair.

Feelings hurt? From what?

Rescue lady has called. If we get him tonight, we have her number.

I sent you a PM. Post this thread over on the Dog Forum. Meanwhile, I would get a tag for him from a Petsmart or any petstore from that machine and put your cell # and town on it until help comes so at least he can be linked back to you.

I bet he is not neutered that is why he escapes and wanders all over.
Sounds like someone from out of the area maybe dumped him.

I'm leary to put a tag on him. If he knocks a cyclist off a bike, bites someone, hello lawsuit.

He has been neutered, has great teeth, and recently got a flea & tick treatment (heartsclark took care of that).

Dog forum - at this point I'd rather keep it in the Huntsville area. If you would like to post a link to this thread, feel free, but I'd rather keep it in one place.

Eddie, an obvious question. Why didn't you put a leash on him?

Did I mention he doesn't have a collar on him and I don't have a collar that will fit him. My dog is about 25 lbs, this guy is much bigger than that.

Yes I saw that. But I'd thought it's been 24 hours and you might have bought one since...

Don't get me wrong. I understand it's not your responsibility to do so. You're already doing a lot for this dog.
