I am potentially looking at relocating to the Florence/Muscle Shoals area and I need to know how long the drive takes to get from Florence to Counce, TN. Yes, I have mapquested and googlemapped it, but you cannot always tell just how long it will take from those websites. I need to know from somebody who has driven the route. I need to know the distance and the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe YOU should drive it before you relocate.

That is what we did before we bought our house, I know many others who did the same.

There are too many variables for anyone to answer you properly...how do you drive? What time of day? What part of town?

YMMV

If you take 20 to 69 its about an hour and ten minutes to the papermill in Counce, Tn. My brother use to drive there every day for work. Hope this helps.

Like blondie said, about an hour or so. Note that you have a choice of 72 or 69. 72 runs west from Florence south of the TN River (then north on 25 / 57 at Iuka to Counce), 69 runs west from Florence north of the TN River (then backroad -like Old Sand Mtn- to 128 / 57 to Counce). It depends on your starting point in the Quad Cities (Florence, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Sheffield) plus weather, traffic, etc.

There are plenty of places to live in / around Counce that are much closer. For example, look into Shiloh Falls or Pickwick Lake houses.
