My son's birthday is in December and there isn't alot of options for birthday parties. So I was wondering, could anyone tell me what places in Muscle Shoals or Florence is great for winter indoor bday parties besides Chuck E Cheese? Thanks!

If he's a little older, you could do paintball, which is outdoors. There used to be a place to play in Tuscumbia, or somewhere over there. Lots of fun!
If he's younger, how about a skating place?
We have very few people from the Shoals area on the board, so you may not get an answer right away.
Good luck!

I assume he's too young for strippers...How about hiring a magician or animal exhibitor? I've seen outfits that bring a whole bunch of reptiles into your home. Kids totally love it.

I was thinking if he's a little guy, a party at home with stations of fun activities might be cool... we did that with our girl when she turned 7 and it was a huge hit. we had teen helpers that we paid to assist and we had timed rotations... it was a huge hit. we had prizes for each station... got them at the dollar store... the kids LOVED it.

Default muscle shoals/ florence

My son will be turning 3 so it's really hard to find something for the smaller ones to just really have a blast with indoors. We've rented our church fellowship hall the past 2 years and we were wanting to do something different this year, but haven't found something that just seems like something we could do. There used to be an indoor bounce place but we think they might have closed recently. There will be several small children so I was trying to find something that would accomodate everyone. I'm one of these mom's who tries to make sure everyone attending is having a good time. We are going to do the skate party when he is a little older. I really appreciate everyone's advice. If anyone comes up with anything else please let me know! It might take me a while to respond but I will

How many are coming? I remember having a rule one child for every year of their age plus the child. But that often flew out the window when bday time came. Any rate if you have less than 10 the station thing could work if your house has enough rooms to do it: eg dining room station for coloring, living room station for another activity like a game--, kitchen area decorate a cookie?? Just a few ideas off the top of my head--

good luck and enjoy--three is a wonderful age!

Default Birthday Parties for boys!

You didn't say how old your son will be; but, regardless of age, my sons always loved to do activity parties! Skating parties are fun - Check out Skate Center Florence. Do you think he might like a bowling party? Check out Lauderdale Lanes. A great hands-on fun place for younger boys is the Children's Museum in Muscle Shoals and then pizza! Good luck!
