We just arrived here in CDA last night. We had to work all day(we work over the internet and phone so our job goes with us), so we were only able to drive by a few rentals this afternoon. These are homes that we had seen on the internet. This is our first visit here, so we don't know much of anything about the area, but we would like to find something in either CDA or Sandpoint. I was hoping that maybe some of the locals might know of some rentals to point us towards. We would like a 4 bedroom or larger, something in a good area with a good school, and an acre or more would be a plus. We can pay up to $2000.00 a month. We will be branching out tomorrow to search for more houses, but I was hoping that someone might know of some leads of either houses or property mgmt companies. We have 3 kids ( 1 that is a 12 month old baby with severe teething pain!!) and after driving 1950 miles we are a little "bonkers" so any info that you can give us would be really appreciated!! We would like to sign on something now but wouldn't need to move in until either July 1 or August 1 because we have to go back to Texas and pack everything up! Thanks in advance for any info you may have!!

Did you ever go by that place. That is probaly one of the better areas you could select in my opinion....I noticed online that there is a house with a couple of acres for rent on S. Moose Canyon Rd. Do you or anyone else happen to know anything about that part of town?...

Yes. We drove out there and checked it out. It is a beautiful area! There were a couple of things that worried us about that house though. It was up a pretty steep mountain ( you guys might just call it a hill--but it was like a mountain to me!!) I was kinda worried about driving up and down that in bad weather. And with the roads to that house being so winding, I was worried that it might be a little too far out of town for us. I don't want to be so far out that getting the kids back and forth to their activities will be an issue. So we will resume the search today!

Would Hayden work for you? There was a large house for rent/lease at 11948 N. Friar Dr. that we stumbled on while looking for a house to buy last month. I did search the address and its $1500 a month, huge house, on an acre, but don't know if it's still available. Good luck!

I have got to say I have never met "Shaner" but have seen him post a lot on here and he seems to be pretty level headed so I would not be afraid to call him. In about a year when we move 'home' he may be getting a call from us.
