isnt is incredible that people cant distinguish the difference between believing amnesty would cause increased migration, and not if they actually would migrate.

unbeleivable.

No, what is truly unbelievable is someone not seeing that moving and migrating are the same thing.

Gee, isn't it amazing what one can find when one does just the tiniest bit of research.....
That's the best you can do. A Washington Times article posted on Zogby blog. If even calls the poll, the CIS poll. The article by it's own admission states that the poll hasn't been released yet " is being released Wednesday." Show me a link to the actual poll, not some article on a blog by the Washington Times.

56% of Mexcicans polled believe that it[amnesty] would increase Mexicans moving[migrating] to the States, not that they[the 56% of Mexicans polled] would move[migrate].

Who needs all of these polls? We've had 20 or so million Illegals come here since 86, the amnesty to end all amnesties right? The smart money says that poll is probably a good reflection since it's already happened in the past.

What I find incredible is that US citizens (that's if you ARE one) believe illegal immigration is a great idea.

It's Zogby's own website annotated by a writer for the Washington Times, on the website ZOGBY INTERNATIONAL....jeez, do you not read anything which doesn't kowtow to your own belief system?

Absolutely. It has already been proven that amnesty only serves as a magnet for even more illegal immigration. After the “final” amnesty of 1986, which legalized an estimated 3 million, we now have 20 million more illegals all waiting for their prize. Let’s see, if the last amnesty resulted in a sevenfold increase of 20+ million, in another 20 years we can expect another 140 million illegals?

It is as I said, you didn't even bother to read the page other than to find out that the poll, which has been released to various news agencies, had been annotated and explained by a Washington Times writer on Zogby International's own website. The full poll has not yet been released to the public at large, but the link is to Zogby's own website.

You simply dismiss it out of hand because it doesn't line up to your "scary, scary boogyman, white supremacist, racists under every rock" view of the world.
