Luis Gutierrez the ring leader

Quote:
This man is on the United States federal payroll, which is to say we the people, et. al. are going to pay for this man to travel around our country and push the cause of people from another country. And as these people have broken our laws and crossed our borders illegally, he is in fact aiding and abetting criminals who are causing harm to every legal citizen in our country. This man freely states that he represents illegals. I say the only way he can support illegals is at the expense of the rest of us.

How did we ever reach the point that blatant treason is not only condoned but encouraged? How would it be if a gentleman with a Russian accent got himself elected by Russian immigrants in an area they had taken over and then came on our television and started pushing for a communist manifesto to replace our Constitution? This is political correctness gone amuck.

If he feels so strongly for these "poor" illegal immigrants why doesn't he pack up his bags, move his family to Mexico and work on reforming THEIR government?

He won't. You never see the La Raza types actually working to reform their own native countries. They don't give a single damn about their "raza" if they don't come illegally into the USA.

Why is the opposition waiting for the federal government to make changes? CLUE: President Obama is not going to make your changes.

Dr. King didnt wait for the federal government to make changes. He put the question to the American people through demostrations, sit-ins, and marches.

Proponets of the Civil rights stuggle and those that opposed to the Vietnam War...faced jail, violence, and even death for their cause.

Is another blog, another thread...in opposition to illegal immigration needed?

Say what you want about Rep. Gutierrez or Dream act students, they are not waiting for the federal government to act. Right, wrong or indifferent...at least they have the balls to get out there and fight for what they believe.

Who's voicing your demands...on the streets where it counts?

It's easier to spend your time out protesting and rioting when you don't have jobs to show up to.

Too many American taxpayers are too busy struggling with bills and taxes and have to be at work. The illegals don't have that problem, the Dream Act kids don't plan to work their way through college, they want to demand it given to them. Employers really don't give you the day off to go protest.

Anti-illegal immigration Americans may not be marching in the streets but we have held just as many demonstrations opposing illegal immigration as the pro-illegals have held their demonstrations. There are other ways to address this issue besides marching in the streets that count just as much or more. We fax, e-mail our congressmen. We have many activist groups doing many things to bring about change. We shut down the phone lines to congress a few years ago in protest when amnesty was rearing its ugly head again. I guess some have been living in a cave or wearing earplugs and blinders not to see what we have been doing.

Define "your", is he not your president? Aren't you also against illegal immigration?
This doesn't add up.
