Can we stop the abuse of the 14th amendment by illegal aliens? (naturalization, certificate)

Ok, put another way, let's take an example of an unmarried citizen mother doesn't otherwise qualify for welfare, until she has a baby. Obtaining welfare benefits through that child can be misused in the same manner, but isn't a question of fraud stemming from the baby's "birthright citizenship"? Why should I as a taxpayer, be on the hook more for a U.S. citizen committing fraud in the same way as an illegal alien mother?
Again, you have to deal with a certain amount of fraud and abuse in any system. However, it's more egregious to not only deal with indigenous abuse, but also abuse by residents of OTHER countries.

My question is how Dave Gibson attributes that $118 billion dollars of expenses a year is linked specifically to 350,000 "Anchor Baby" births. How does he determine the numbers and amount? It isn't sourced in the "article".
Sure, but we have an obligation to deal with them because they are indigenously "ours."
Well this is just begging the question. According to our laws and a long arc of legal history, children born here are "ours." Wanting to have your child born here isn't "taking advantage" of that system, what you're complaining about are the benefits of citizenship.

Does it really matter if it is $118 million or $118 billion? Those costs are being passed onto we the taxpayers. Here, chew on this for awhile.
So in Los Angeles County (probably the highest population density of illegal immigrants nationwide by far) the welfare payments were projected to reach $600 million for last year. Dave Gibson quotes $118 billion nationwide, the equivalent of almost 200 LA County's worth. I'm not understanding how he is deriving the total annual amount (over $337,000 per birth each year by his numbers).

Each "Anchor Baby", almost a $1,000 a day?...
Again, does it really matter what the actual costs are? They are enough to impact Americans negatively. Why won't you address that rather than arguing about numbers and dollars?

What does it cost the state when it cares for that U.S. citizen child left behind without parents?...
If these mostly Hispanic parents are the family orientated people that they claim to be, they will take their children back to their homeland with them. AT any rate those that don't would probably leave them with relatives so we would still be stuck with the costs of caring for them till they are 18 years old.
Whether the illegal parents remain here with their kids or leave without their kids we would still be paying for them anyway. So what is your point?
I wish just for once you would come clean and tell us why you think it ok for illegals to drop babies on our soil and we the taxpayer should have to pay for them. I mean an "opinion" on a personal level, not what the Constitution says.

So citizens committing welfare fraud might as well be discussed as fraudulently exploiting their birthright citizenship, then.
Did anyone address this?
