Can we stop the abuse of the 14th amendment by illegal aliens? (giving birth, illegal immigrants)

Can anything be done? Its a scheme illegals are getting away with.
There are bills pending to put an end to this travesty and mockery of our citizenship but it will be an uphill battle to bring about this needed change. More Americans need to get behind this to see that birthright citizenship's current interpretation is changed.
The only way to stop automatic birthright citizenship for "anchor babies" (children of illegal immigrants) would be to amend the 14th amendment and require that for a person born in the U.S and gain birthright citizenship that at least one of their parents were a U.S citizen at the time of their birth.
purposely having babies on American soil when they are not American and using the baby for federal food stamp funding.
Yeah, I still don't see how that's an abuse of the 14th amendment. We're talking about citizens getting what they're supposed to get, right? You're not alleging any fraud here, are you? I mean, yeah, there is probably some fraud here, but that's not what this thread is about, is it? It's about brown kids getting what they're entitled to.
BTW, how much money do you estimate is being "wasted" on food stamps for US citizens who happen to be children of illegal immigrants?
There are 350,000 of these births in the U.S. every year. It is estimated that they cost $118 billion annually in government services.

That process would be lengthy and difficult, but carries with it, the potential of saving the country from irreparable bankruptcy.
Lol, no. Even if that estimate isn't a gross exaggeration that $118B won't even come close to covering the interest on our debt let alone stave off some hypothetical catastrophic bankruptcy. This is quite the spectacular illusion these guys are pushing.

If a woman who isn't a legal US citizen comes into the US illegally for the sole purpose of having a child on our soil so that child can then be a US citizen and take advantage of our social services then yes, it is a clear abuse of the 14th amendment. This has nothing to do with "brown kids" so put the race card back in your pocket.
