They would not have if the federal government had done their job. Come on, be honest about that......really.

The Alabama schools are simply going to determine if the student is here legally in our country or not so that they can determine how much extra funds are going to educated illegal aliens. That hardly requires ICE training. The schools already ask many questions when a student is enrolling. What's one more question? You are grasping at straws with your remarks in here.

Our anger is directed at the three guilty parties....our government, the employers and the illegals themselves. I know the pro-illegals hate to hold the illegals accountable at all for this mess but the fact is that they are equally guilty.

Absolutely! Each year I had to complete paperwork to enroll my son in school, even when he was a returning student. No big deal. Every state should adopt this policy, because taxpayers have a right to know. The only change will be now Alabama will have the authority to separate the costs for illegal alien students. The students will not be denied an education. Nor will they have designated restrooms or water fountains. There is absolutely no comparison between this and Jim Crow Alabama. The lies need to stop.

Maybe the Gov could call out the National Guard to encircle the schools so "those people" won't get in. Route thru the back door so they can be properly profiled.

More desperation on your part along with dramatics that won't be occuring. Read Benicar's post. She explained it well. No illegals will be denied an education so there is no need for the National Guard to encircle schools. Profiled? Every student will be asked for legal status in this country not just certain ones.

States HAVE to follow Federal law. Or they can get in big trouble.

I agree with most of what you say but in this case the Feds have not only ignored the situation but have now made it policy to turn a blind eye. They are basically daring the States to do something about it and some have, more will follow. So yes, don't blame the immigrants or the states, blame the feds.. they are the ones perpetuating the situation.
