The GOP is reeling, this is true.
You need to grow up and get a clue, Bush has nothing to do with this decision, what next ???

Since the " Blame Bush " excuse has been used now you can accuse everyone that disagrees with Obama's ineptness as being racists.

Can we at least deport the ones who can't find a job within a couple of weeks?

And this has taken the wind out of the illegals and their movement. Now they can shut up -- they got their big amnesty, no one has to promise them anything more. However it seems like it was a desperate move by Obama, there is no American who is dumb enough not to realize it was a selling out of American unemployed just to try to pick up some votes. Everyone knows it was about votes -- and as far as the votes of the illegal, Obama already had their votes.
According to the link posted on another thread there are 3.7 million jobs waiting to be filled, but for lack of experience companies are not hiring (issue could be resolved if they were willing to train new employees).

ICYMI: Jobs for skilled workers are going unfilled | Education & the Workforce Committee
WASHINGTON, D.C. | June 8, 2012 -
The Department of Labor reports 3.7 million jobs remain unfilled, despite the fact that nearly 13 million unemployed Americans are searching for work

The GOP is long on talk and damn short on doing. Obama's memo or executive order or whatever isn't an ideal solution and certainly not one I would have chosen. That said at least he is trying to do something other than talk the problem to death.

Yes Obama is doing something, he's making it worse and rewarding them.

The majority of Americans agree with Obama though.

I am sure the millions of unemployed don't.

Why this particular "doing something" though? There were no other choices? It was a political move plain and simple to garner the Hispanic votes that he lost.

Ok, then why don't they train Americans and legal immigrants to do those jobs? Advertise them and say "willing to train" then. Bet they'd be flooded with applicants.

I found this sentence in the article. I wonder why they felt the need to bring this up when the jobs they are talking about were highly paid skilled jobs? What does crop picking have to do with the artilce? From the article: "Tighter immigration enforcement has squeezed the nation's agricultural sector as farmers from Washington state to Georgia scramble to find enough field hands". Maybe they should try using the unlimited H-2A visas for legal agricultural workers.

The only good thing is that now that the illegals have won their big amnesty and have been moved to the front of the line ahead of legal immigrants and Americans, they can shut up, they got their way and I think people aren't going to want to see any more from them.
