One of the reasons I moved from the Charlotte, North Carolina area was because the illegal immigration problem was just getting ridiculous (sorry to offend all of those who still think "Mayberry" actually exists there). North Carolina might as well hang out a shingle that says "Sanctuary State Here", but now I hear that a South Carolina Senator, Glenn McConnell, is taking a stand and trying to get some legislation passed for enforcement in his state.

Please e-mail him and lend him some words of support. You may remember it was a South Carolina Senator, Lindsey Graham, that called those of us who want our immigration laws enforced as they should be "bigots", etc. I hope he losses his hide in the next election.

I just e-mailed Senator McConnell and told him I commend him for his efforts. I have family in North and South Carolina still, and these once pleasant all-American type towns are being absolutely ruined beyond recognition and it makes me MAD.

Minor change to title, added "state" to differentiate him from a US Senator from Kentucky.
