Just wait a few years if this Amnesty BS passes.

The excuses will be the same as last time with sob stories of families being separated, white people don't want to work "our" jobs, the US was once owned by Mexico and if you don't agree to all of the above you are a racist.
actually you're a racist for even thinking the way you do. just give them and that other the group the keys to the treasury and do it with a smile.

Its what happened with the Irish, its happening now with Hispanics.

Um, they are already here so they are already doing all of those things.

Why aren't the illegals that got amnesty in the 80's doing that work?

When all the illegals are suddenly legal, who's going to do all the work they presumably won't do anymore?
Them. You obviously don't know too much about migrants and Hispanics.

I am married to the daughter of migrant workers. A lot of her family still does that kind of work and they will continue to do so, amnesty or no amnesty (which is irrelevant to her family, anyways). In fact, the next generation has many family members that also do migrant work. Her family is like any other poor family; some grow up to become college educated (my wife), while others stay where they at. Her family is Catholic and enormous. Some of her cousins went to college, some did not. Some work at McDonald's hourly while others are supervisors. Some still even go up north from Texas to work the fields. Her grandfather was a migrant supervisor who was brought here on a worker's permit, but regardless of whether you believe that or not every single one of her aunts, uncles and cousins was born in America and are citizens. Such situations are very common and there are many American citizens already working these jobs. Since this is the case, the illegals most certainly won't be going away from their jobs either.

Gomexico, is that you ?????

Came from the 20s did you ? If you really think 12million uneducated, unskilled illegal aliens added to
the work force will create jobs, you must be delusional. They will create a welfare nation though. I'll grant
you that.

Revolution ? That's just funny. Do you think there were 12million illegal Irish here ? Can I borrow your
time machine on your next trip ?

Sure.... Of course there will be millions of more illegals coming into do those low wage hard work the amnestied illegals will be too good to do -- and with their expanded access to unemployment handouts and welfare benefits, no amnestied will have to do those jobs only illegals do.

Also, it's not like the Senate is coming up with a new minimum wage to accomodate all the illegals they want to amnesty and put on the fast path to citizenship. How many employers of illegals will really plan to start paying their cheap workers legal wages and start paying into social security and FICA and workman's comp for them?

The employers of illegals are also being handed a very nice amnesty, they are being nicely rewarded for breaking labor laws, they won't be punished for doing so.

The amnestied will flood the legal labor pools, they'll grab up any job that becomes available, and to hell with American citizens who really needed those jobs.
