Obama and Pelosi would never lie? Why should anyone have to work for slave labor wages? I'm confused by your posts. Are you anti-illegal immigration or pro-illegal immigration and amnesty?

The next wave of illegals.

We did this once before so you already know the ending.
Are you suggesting that Congress is lying?

It was all a smoke screen. There is no such thing as a job an American won't do.

But, isn't it funny, how all of a sudden, when it came to this make believe notion of jobs Americans won't do, we don't have a problem with "slavery"? Having people do work, for a slave wage, for long hours, no breaks. It's OK because there was a method to their madness. It's called "By Any Means Necessary".

I'm worried once they are all legal there won't be anybody to take care of my lawn. And no more day laborers outside the Home Depot for those special projects.

Funny thing. We have employed many people in three states over the last few decades to do lawn, snowplow, cleaning, construction, and similar work. They were all typical "American" heritage, having mostly European origins with multi generational roots in the USA. These were small business people, running a personal/family business that often employed spouses, siblings, and children.

My current landscape/lawn service provider not only supervises and DOES much of the work himself but also employs his college age daughter who is earning money to help pay for her education.

Let's not forget that this class of senator morons also increased visas for foreign workers (usually Indian)so the chances of an American getting a job are getting slimmer.

The reality of illegals is this: most make low wages and many don't work at all and come here simply for our generous welfare. In Illinois something like 75% of those on Medicaid are illegals and their kids. The sick irony is here illegals don't have to prove immigration status and can get medical but a childless American can not. It makes me boil because this moron governor cut funding for the disabled and elderly but wouldn't dare touch all the freeloading illegals on the system.

What's going to happen is even more wages will decrease and welfare will increase. There will be more illegals come here and years from now another Amnesty will occur. We will all be forced to learn Spanish and good paying jobs will be a thing of the past.

They were obviously illegal. Americans don't / won't do that work - only illegals.

Hilarious! Americans have always done those jobs. Who do you think did them before illegal aliens arrived?
