Getting tough on employers means a war on small business.
Securing the borders has an enormous ongoing price tag associated with it.

No one wants to alienate the Hispanic vote.
The question is why does it alienate the Hispanic vote? Why would they think that their ethnic group should be above our immigration laws and rewarded for breaking them? So they are blackmailing our politicians by withholding their votes from anyone that doesn't cave into their anti-American demands? Something is wrong with this picture.

Securing our borders would be positive not a negative. What sort of price tag would there be except for decreasing the profits for these greedy employers who hire them? Americans would benefit from it because their jobs would be returned to them and we wouldn't be taxed out of existence covering their social costs.

In 2012, 410, 000 were deported setting another new record.

Obama administration sets deportation record: 409,849

It's a tad ironic that the Admin responsible for record deportation is perceived by many as being responsible illegal immigration.

You actually believe what this administration and their pet media tell you?

How cute.

It's a tad ironic that you would think that President Obama -- the ONLY U.S. President in history to have not one but TWO ILLEGAL ALIEN relatives living in the US on taxpayer dollars -- would be "tough" on illegals. He actually HAS family members who were here, illegally. A US President, with illegal alien family members. Wow, just wow.

The Obama Adminstration also reports the unemployment numbers -- do you believe those too?

Democrats view Hispanics as a huge voting bloc.
Republicans view Hispanics as cheap slave labor.

THIS is one good reason why the two-party platform needs to be dismantled.

Agreed and here is a source that proves otherwise. Not only that but what good is it since recently Obama has stopped deportation of any illegals that don't have a felony record and gave 1.8 million Dreamies a stay of deportation with possible work permits.

Every president since (and including) JFK has been soft on illegal immigrants. There is plenty of blame to go around.

Agreed, several administrations from the past have also been negligent on illegal immigration.
