Have you visited a Bank of America Branch lately? They definitely "pander" to the illegal business in this area.
I closed my Bank of America account. I had been a customer for 20+ years, originally in CA, then again when they bought my local bank in NM. When I closed it, my branch manager asked me why I was leaving after so long. I told her "por que este es los Estados Unidos." She does not speak Spanish, and told me she did not know what I was saying. I told her "then why is every damn sign in the lobby in Spanish?" Her response: corporate tells her what signs to hang based on region. She also said that their research shows Mexicans are more likely to visit inside the branch than Americans. Her hands were tied.

It felt good to move my money, even though it was a pain in the behind.
