Good point, and this has been going on for years and years. What's sad is what they are leaching off us at our hospitals is just a small part of what they are taking.

Unless they are dying they should be given a one way ticket to the border.

The nine billion dollar number includes all payed health care, that means out of pocket, self pay, paid insurance etc......

Sure those numbers look big, but they just reflect the similar percentages as population ratios, as far as totals spent on health care....

What numbers are relevant, are the public funds seperated out of the totals spent on health care.

There you find undocumented account for only about 1 or 2 per cent of government taxpayer money spent.

Out of nearly 100 billion dollars of government taxpayer money spent on health care for all non-elderly people in the US, only about $1.1 billion in federal, state and local government funds are spent annually on health care for undocumented immigrants.

MR.MEXHICO PREZ?

I know what he'd tell who?

------- off! ?

I don't know, the one billion works out to about .03 cents a day for the 'average' tax payer,

I think what would bother me more is that someone earning the most income in the US won't be paying even .03 cents a day.

I'd rather tell Mr American Preznit that he's got his priorities all screwed up, and that I'm tired of paying for something the wealthiest of his buddies don't have to think about.

We pay those costs because of our own policies, I'd rather try to fix what's wrong with our own policies,

.......other people can complain about Mexico's president, but that's not likely to be very effective.

The fact that we pay any tax money for this health care is due to our own policy.

Policies which our government mandated.

Seems to me if one disagrees with the end results of such policy, one would address those responsible who hold the reins of government where that policy was formed.

Like I said, others can do as they wish, but complaining about Mexico won't change policy formulated by our own government..

Default 6 BILLION Dollars a Year for illegals health care!

And nothing for us Americans. Sad. Very sad.

I saw a sign in the emergency room last week. It said: If you are an American and have no insurance, step right up to the sign that says "Morgue".

If you are an illegal alien, step right up to your diamond studded wheel chair and a pretty Nurse will be with you in a second to escort you to your private suite.

Actually, if you read the report, over 99% of taxpayer supported health care does go to 'us Americans'.....

That's close to 100 billion a year,

....that we don't get very good health care for all that money is a topic for another forum.

It stinks, but the reason we get shafted on health care is not but a percentage point or two because of immigration concerns.

The reason we get shafted is because health care in this country is set up to cater to the health care providers, the corporations and their enablers, ....it's not set up to provide the best health care to it's citizens.

Who on here believes that it's only costing each American 3 cents a day in healthcare for all the millions of illegals in OUR country...
THAT'S WAY TOO FUNNY!
