We are sending non-Americans back home where they belong. I don't see the problem. If their families don't want to be split up, they should go back with them. I would want my family to go back with me.
Last year one of my daughter's friends had to move to France. Her father accepted a job in Paris. The family didn't split up. They all moved to Paris in spite of not knowing the language. They will learn, just like everybody else who moves to a foreign country.
Exhibit A: exporting illegal immigrants is going to dramatically lower the average IQ of those we're left with.
In the long-run, this does not affect me. But it does affect people such as yourself. Inasmuch as I would squander a wish, I would find it deeply amusing if you could see beyond your dim present and into the future you are cheering for.
What's the difference between this and someone committing any other crime like fraud or murder? Don't they have to go to prison and be separated from their family?
That is not what Arpaio did. He broke the hump of Hispanics. The totally illegal traffic stops were simply those who appeared Hispanic not those who were illegal. And that did not bother Arpaio in the least...nor many in Mariposa County who apparently liked Arpaio's xenophobic approach.
Arpaio did not go after illegals. He openly harrassed Hispanics. And he could care less whether legal or not...they still got pullled over and mistreated in his sweeps.
The whole thing was a very sad chapter for both AZ and Phoenix.
It doesn't really matter since many American "Hispanics", even here in Arizona, were sad to see Sheriff Joe go and, the illegal alien fans NOW have to deal with President Trump.
Tragic and uncomfortable deportations are kind of inevitable. The underlying cause is that the entire illegal alien issue got out of control and the government's response was to ignore it. You're never going to be able to clean up the whole mess without hurting a lot of people. No matter which direction you go with trying to solve the problem, it's going to hurt a lot of people. The problem is too big and involves too many people. That's unfortunate.
I'm all for any suggestions. How should Trump handle it differently? Personally, I'd rather see a penalty, a path to citizenship, and greatly simplified immigration policies. But the worst thing that can possibly happen is for the government to continue doing nothing and ignoring the problem.
Father enters country illegally. Doesn't even bother applying for citizenship even after living here for more than 13 years. Lawlessness ends up putting entire family in bad situation. Then acts like a victim.
And what exactly did he do wrong. Trump said he was going to go after the criminals. So why not start with the MS 13 gangs instead of splitting hard working families apart who have done nothing.

He entered the country illegally. Was that even a serious question?
I agree. The order for his deportation was issued in 2014!!! Waiting 3 years to enforce it, absolutely has to stop. Too bad we had a leader of the executive branch that refused to do his job during that time.
Good to see a president with some respect for the law and a willingness to do his job. Finally.
