“I am deeply honored and very heartened that one of the Obama Administration’s first Latino appointments is someone who has so ably served this organization and the Latino community with dedication and distinction for more than 20 years,” stated Janet Murguía, NCLR President and CEO.

“Cecilia leaves a legacy of advocacy and accomplishment virtually unmatched in the Latino community, and we will miss her greatly,” continued Murguía. “But I can say with absolute certainty that no one will work harder for her country and for the ideals and priorities of the Obama Administration. We congratulate her and salute President-Elect Obama for this inspired appointment.”

“We hope to see more Latino appointments in the upcoming weeks,” concluded Murguía.

Gee I wonder which country is HERS? With each racist he appoints, Obama's treasonous globalist views are being confirmed.
I agree.

Obama was elected to serve a country not just one ethnicity.

Does this mean other Countries like Africa don't matter? Just the Latino community and the tie between Mexico and Central America?

What brings you to that conclusion?

OH, right that does not matter. she is LATINO and obviously AN ENEMY OF THE STATE.

some of the worst prejudices have been written in these forums. when will it ever stop?

anyhow, this is good news. i trust our future leader. as for the assertion that his appointees are racist... give me a break.
besides NCLR is not a racist org. remember latinos come in ALL races.

do better please. if all you can do is question a persons qualifications based on their last name or cultural background, then you are an ignorant and prejudiced poster.

A latina? Is that really what you think people are not so happy about?
The woman works for La Raza - which by its very name hardly shows a predisposition for unity. But we are suppossed to ignore that? Or face the consequences of being labeled 'racist'?
The real irony here is that left to their own devices the illegal immigrants themselves probably wouldn't raise so much as an eyebrow from US citizens....it's only after community activists and lobbyists such as La Raza got involved, telling these people that they are entitled to the rights of citizenship based on their physical location, that they have the right to cling obstinately to old customs and languages and that they have the right not to assimilate and that they have the right to demand that other people (employers, government,etc..) bend over backwards to ensure they will never have to assimiliate --- these are the reasons that resentment of illegal immigration has become so heated, and is spreading. Not latent racism, not xenophobia, but frustration that a rapidly growing illegal segment of the population is now convinced that their rights and/or desires supercede those of legal citizens and immigrants. And who lit those fires? La Raza, among other organizations. So you will excuse me if I think that the appointment of a lobbyist from a racist and classist organization is hardly something to celebrate.

The conclusion was made specificly to allow loose posters as yourself, to ask meaningless questions that, in turn, will receive no meaningful answer...if any.

Do you even make sense to yourself?
I read and re-read this post a few times, and can't make sense out of it. It's like someone chopped up a bunch of fragments from random sentences, and pasted them together and posted it.
Please try to write more clearly towards me, so as to better understand each other.
I'm pretty sure you don't even know what "the conclusion" being discussed is, and are just replying to argue with me(trolling).

Munoz will toe the political line---------even if it means throwing the illegals under the bus.

I still suspect that even MEChA will follow suit to save its own hide.
