If ever there was a reason to stop birth right citizenship when the parents are not citizens (and most especially when they are here illegally) this would be it.

*******s.

i agree 100% any way some people want to slice it, it boils down to there parents came here unlawfully. If they never were able to come here illegally then this wouldnt be happening in the first place. almost like a bank robber who stole 100 million and goes to prison and the goverment takes all the money back and this criminals son sues the goverment saying "it wasnt me who stole the money now give it back" fact is fact you do something illegal you pay the price dont come boohoo'ing later

Seriously hope you didn't think it was the one starting with 'W'....I may not like the idea of illegal immigration, but I do recognize that individually they are people and most likely nice people. It is just the sheer numbers of them that I cannot accept.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. There are MANY MANY examples of something, or some practice, that was "once OK", but now no longer is.....and also many things, and many practices, that MAY be "OK" in manageble numbers, but can become serious problems when those "numbers" increase fivefold or tenfold.

Correction, 1guy....our immigration system may not please everybody, but it doesn't "break up family units". Illegal immigrants are OUTSIDE our immigration system...remember?

Just like "our retail system" doesn't penalize shoppers; it penalizes shoplifters. Shoplifters aren't part of the 'retail process'.

Illegal immigrants take their chances when they elect to come here illegally...most get away with it, but when they're 'caught', it's not the 'fault' of the immigration system...it's the fault of the one who broke the law, and put himself AND his family into a 'legal limbo'...

Yeah, I feel you and agree.

I totally agree. But of course you do realize that they've been brainwashed to believe that nothing is ever their fault or responsibility. Even when it is . . . . .

Well said. To blame our immigration system for breaking up families is like blaming our legal system for breaking up families when we send them convicted to jail.

It’s interesting you mentioned “stole” in your post. What would you consider one who “steals” an identity; such as a stolen SSN to gain employment in this country? Do you not consider that theft? Or, is that justifiable due to our “horrible” immigration system?

Pro illegal alien apologists' claims are growing more outlandish by the day---------methinks their desperation is starting to really show.

Good point...and while occasionally, one person has been known to "murder" another, I can't remember the last time I heard of a person who "stole" someone. I thought Abraham Lincoln put that whole industry out of business in 1865...

Anyone who "stole or murdered a person" SHOULD get the attention of the authorities, I agree.
