It is wise practice in general, but the courts would be doing Californians a favor by stepping up early and ending a proposed initiative that almost seems designed to create harmful, even hateful, debate without accomplishing a thing

Backers of this measure, which they hope to have on the June 2010 ballot, fully understand that it is extremely unlikely that their verbiage will ever become law, but they persist. Some no doubt are motivated only by genuine concerns about the costs of providing public benefits to the undocumented. We suspect, however, that not a few frustrated souls in Hilton's camp simply want to vent their anger and resentments and have learned that undocumented workers make for easy targets.

Could it be that these "Undocumented" Criminals are ACTUALLY costing tax payers in California Billions of Dollars each year? No.. no.. not that..

States don't enact legislation like this just because they feel like it, it's because they are financially devastated that the need for it comes up.

When are people going to get that, for the vast majority of people against illegal immigration, it has nothing to do with the "immigration" part? It's about the "illegal" part. Wake up people.
